Yellow warning for storms, hail, and strong winds

The Meteorology Department issued a yellow warning on Monday for isolated strong storms expected to affect parts of the island.

The warning is in effect from 11:00 to 18:00 today.

According to the announcement, isolated strong thunderstorms are expected to impact the island intermittently.

Locally, rainfall intensity is expected to exceed 35 millimetres per hour.

Hail is also expected during storms, while winds will strengthen and change direction.
