8-month prison sentence for drug driving in Paphos

Paphos District Court sentenced a 28-year-old Georgian to 8 months in prison after police caught him driving under the influence of drugs, a Sigma correspondent reported.

The court also suspended his driving licence for 4 months and added 8 penalty points to his record.

The defendant drove without insurance. The court imposed an additional 4 months in prison for this offence, but it runs concurrently with the main sentence.
