A workplace accident claimed the life of a 67-year-old man around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday (18/12) in Nicosia.
According to police reports, the man was in an apartment loading tiles onto a hoist when the balcony gave way, causing him to fall.
Police officers and paramedics rushed to the scene. The victim was transported to Nicosia General Hospital, where doctors confirmed his death.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
