A 50-year-old Greek national serving a six-year prison sentence for drug-related offences has died after being hospitalised for approximately two months with serious health problems.
The death occurred at 1:20am on Thursday at Nicosia General Hospital, where he had been receiving treatment.
According to an official announcement, Police were informed of the death and all prescribed procedures are being followed.
