A 49-year-old woman was discovered dead on Thursday afternoon inside her apartment in Paralimni.
Police sources say she was found in the bathroom of her residence.
The woman had been reported missing over the past few days, prompting a search that led authorities to her home.
Police officers are at the scene conducting examinations. All possibilities remain under investigation.
Forensic pathologists Angeliki Papetta and Orthodoxos Orthodoxou are on their way to perform an autopsy.
