31-year-old injured in shooting and robbery in Paphos

A 31-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being shot and robbed in the Mandria area of Paphos early this morning.

According to police, the incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. The victim told authorities that two unknown individuals shot at the ground near him, and fragments from the bullets struck both his legs. The attackers then allegedly stole his mobile phone and wallet before fleeing the scene.

The man was taken to Paphos General Hospital, where he remains under observation. Police investigations are ongoing.
