A four-year-old boy is in critical condition after being found unconscious in a swimming pool while on holiday in Cyprus with his parents, police have confirmed.
The child was pulled from the pool unresponsive and given first aid at the scene before being rushed to hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
Doctors have since intubated the boy due to the seriousness of his condition. He is now set to be transferred by ambulance to a hospital in Nicosia for specialised care.
