22kg of rubbish collected by AKTI and Nikolaideio School

In just 40 minutes, 22 kilograms of rubbish were collected as part of a clean-up event organised by the AKTI Research and Study Centre in collaboration with Nikolaideio Gymnasium.

According to an announcement by AKTI, this marks the fifth consecutive year that the environmental team from the school has scheduled numerous interesting activities focused on the environment.

Yesterday they carried out their first action of the year: a beach clean-up along the Kato Paphos coastline, stretching from the Castle to the Lighthouse.
